The desk lamp version has been an outstanding addition to my bedside.
The adjustable LED lighting and arm make it easy-to-use and offers just what I was looking for in a reading lamp.

The adjustable light level make it an excellent reading lamp. The overall quality and the fit and finish are very good.

However, one of the friction joints between the arms is too tight which makes adjusting the position of the arms difficult. I have been unable loosen the screw because it isn't possible to grip the smooth round "nut" without chewing it up with pliers.

Suggestions on how to loosen the joint are welcome.

This is a wonderful lamp, especially for reading at night, it is dimmable and at it's highest setting is good for reading. At lower levels it is good background light for computer or ipad use. I keep it next to my reclining chair and utilize it for the above mentioned uses. It looks great and the ability to pull the light from behind the chair to directly over what I am working on/reading is critical. I highly recommend this item. There is a Z bar 3rd generation coming out and I'm looking forward to trying some of these brighter products!
