These coasters arrive in a little bread bag. They are really charming and cute. And very realistic - my dog swiped one off a low table thinking he hit the jackpot! Luckily he decided cork and toast are not the same thing and dropped it. They do retain a little water/get and stay damp for a while. But it is very worth it for the quirk factor.

These look more like wholewheat bread than toast but the effect is just as fun. I gave these as part of a hostess gift and the recipients are totally coaster people. It came wrapped in cellophane with a twist bow so it really looked like a small loaf of specialty bread. It took them awhile to realize it was not bread. They started using them right away.
