Tim Burton's Tragic Figure Set: Oyster Boy
Each of the collectible characters in this set of three is from Tim Burton's The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Other Stories. The characters, including The Boy with Nails in His Eyes, Oyster Boy, and Junk Girl, were designed by Burton himself. Made of painted PVC. Not for children under 12.
With a visual style inspired by the aesthetics of animation and silent comedy, Tim Burton has reinvented Hollywood genre filmmaking over the past three decades, melding the exotic, the horrific, and the comic and manipulating expressionism and fantasy with the skill of a graphic novelist. This product was selected to accompany MoMA's major career retrospective, Tim Burton.
