I just redesigned my entire kitchen around this object. Seriously.

Went totally white for my vintage cabinets that now look very modern with classic brushed stainless handles. Selected a white quartz countertop. Added a color wall that's vibrant coral. Started loving these a few years back when two were given to me as a gift from an artful friend. When he heard my plans, he bought me three more (!!!), so now I have one on each side of my cooktop and three more adjacent to the side of my white sink.

Yes, they're functional, but they're also just delightful and fun to look at. Everybody gasps and smiles when they see my new kitchen and the next words out are, "It's AMAZING!" Every time I walk into my kitchen, I am happy. Food? Later. I'm busy being fed visually. Best gift(s) ever!

As one of my gift recipients said, "this is the best gift ever!". She then ordered a few herself to give as gifts. It is the perfect hostess gift, making a lasting impression. I keep mine against the wall behind my sink so that I always see it when I am in the kitchen. Not only is it a cheerful work of art, but also it is so very useful as a trivet and serving platter as well as an everyday cutting board. I recommend buying a few to have on hand for gifts and, of course, to get one for yourself.
