Eames Compact Sofa

This Compact Sofa's striking profile and light scale evolved from a built-in sofa that Charles and Ray Eames designed for the living room of their Pacific Palisades, CA home. Two horizontal foam pads with welting cord form the sofa's comfortably high back, while a black enameled steel frame and chrome-plated tubular steel legs with stainless-steel glides makeup the sofa's foundation. Upholstered in 100%-polyester crepe fabric. Made by Herman Miller®.
