I have now owned two of these and both have broken. I love the design and the convenience of all the well-fitting compartments. Unfortunately, the snapping locks on either side of the lid are connected to the lid merely by tiny nubs of plastic that fit into grooves on the snaps. The first time I broke one of the nubs, I thought it was my fault. I ordered another lunchbox and, even while exercising great care, managed to break that one, too, after just a dozen uses or so.
I am amused that something so clearly designed for optimal functionality would have such a major, major flaw. If the lid were redesigned, I would definitely purchase this item again.
