Product Description

Miniature Chair, Breuer B3 Wassily Chair

These collectible miniatures painstakingly replicate important chairs in the development of twentieth-century furniture design many represented in MoMA's design collection. Each chair is crafted in the original materials and is packed in its own wooden shipping crate with a descriptive brochure. The original chair was the first design to introduce seamless steel tubing to home furnishings, created by Marcel Breuer for fellow Bauhaus teacher Wassily Kandinsky. It is reproduced here at a scale of 1:6.
