I bought this pristine square because I was dazzled by its display, and I love the overall aesthetic. However, the functionality leaves a bit to be desired. For example, when setting the alarm, the light is only lit for 5 seconds or so, leaving you to guess which time you're setting it for if in the dark. Surely it would've been simple enough to check if the clock is being used before dimming the backlight. I expected more.

The alarm on this clock doesn't work. Very annoying, because it's a hassle to return it. Sorry to be one of those negative reviewers, but this has been a very frustrating experience. Reminds me of why one should buy from a local merchant, where returns are easy.

This is a handsome and easy to use small clock. It shows Braun's good reputation. Functions well...but one issue is that the alarm is very difficult to hear. The sound level is very low.
